Ya’ale (“May it rise up”) – The words are from the wonderful Yom Kippur night piyyut that pleads from the heart. It speaks of the three stages of the holy day: the evening, with Kol Nidrei; the morning, spent praying and pleading, and the end of the day, as night falls, bringing with it hope.
