"א-לי אתה ואודך אלקי ארוממך" (תהלים קי"ח, כ"ח)
ניגון המושר בזמן אמירת ההלל. כמו כן נוהגים לשיר ניגון זה
בעת שמוזגים את היין מכוסו של אליהו הנביא בחזרה לבקבוק
בתום ליל הסדר.

You are my G-d and I will give thanks to You, my G-d, and I will exalt You” (Psalms 118:28).

Chabad chassidim sing this melody during Hallel. It is also sung while the wine from the Cup of Eliyahu is poured back into the wine bottle at the end of the Pesach Seder.

Teachings of the Chabad Rebbes on the virtues of a niggun:

Speech is the quill of the heart; song is the quill of the soul. – "The Alter Rebbe.

A precise niggun opens a gate from the super-conscious levels of the soul into the conscious levels” – The Rebbe Tzemach Tzedek.

“ Every lock requires a specific key; a niggun is the master key.“
.The Rebbe Rashab –

In order to understand a Rebbe’s precise niggun, one must first study the chassidic teachings of that Rebbe and only then is it possible to understand the content and inner theme of the niggun. – The Rebbe Rayatz.

A chassidic niggun has the power to arouse a manifestation of the soul.”– The Rebbe Rayatz
