האוקראינית, ומדברות על גויים כפריים שמשתוקקים להגיע סוף
סוף לבית מרזח כדי לשתות וודקה. והנמשל הוא, שכשם שהגויים הללו צמאים לוודקה, כך החסידים משתוקקים לנסוע לרבי וצמאים 'לשתות' מדברי התורה שלו.
“Fear not, friends, what will become of us: we will go to the tavern, where the vodka awaits us!”
Dates from the chassidim of the Mitteler Rebbe, and is traditionally sung after Arba Bavot. The Ukrainian words speak of how thirsty gentile villagers yearn to get back to the bar to drink more vodka. Chassidim, too, are thirsty – yearning to get back to the Rebbe to drink in more of his Torah teachings.
