הבינוני Habeinoni by Natan Wishedski

Habeinoni – A beinoni is a Jew who serves his Creator with all his soul; and this is not easy, since every day a Jew is challenged anew. The concept of beinoni is spelled out in the basic book of Chabad – the Tanya.
The niggun expresses the emotional ups and downs of the beinoni; it was composed at the beginning of the 20th century by the chassid R. Aharon Charitonov of Nikolayev, Ukraine (brother of R. Shalom, who composed Ya’ale) and was adopted by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, the sixth Chabad Rebbe, to the point that it is considered his own niggun, since he liked it so much.
